Life Satisfaction, Empowerment and Human Development among women in sex work in the red light area of Pune (Maharashtra, India).

This is a study using both qualitative and quantitative methods to examine women in sex work who participated in the Empowerment Workshop in Pune (India). This study demonstrated that the Empowerment Workshop had a positive effect in empowerment and agency in most of the participants, which is related human development and more gender equality.
